Have your pet hand embroidered into a Christmas bauble!
These pet portraits are all hand embroidered using the technique 'thread painting' on calico.
When ordering you have the choice of 3 inch hoop or 7cm (these have no wooden border or screw top and the ribbon is sewed in).Each will be backed in white felt.
They will all come with red hanging ribbon.
The portrait will be sized to fit the hoop size!
Larger hoops are available in the shop, as well as double/triple pet portraits.
A perfect size to hang on your tree!
Your Pets name will be added underneath in clear black writing (if you want a different colour tell me when ordering otherwise it will be in black!) Each piece will be a head shot due to size. When ordering, please email me at bduffyembroidery@gmail.com with photos of your pet.
The photos are the most important part of your pet portrait, I work very closely with the photos you send so it is vital you send good clear photos.
Tips on good photos are
-Make sure you take in natural lighting, this will help identify the colours in your pet.
-Try take at eye level, this is a flattering level for your pet!
-Take as high quality as possible! Most modern phones have great cameras!
-Send multiple through to me, I can never have enough to help with texture, colouring, characteristics of your pet etc. If its the case you have old photos and they are all you have don't worry! I can work from these, get in touch and we can talk to help create the best portrait for you! I can work from many angles, if you aren't sure on a photo and if it will work, do send it through to me to see if its possible.
