These pet portraits are all hand embroidered using the technique 'thread painting' on calico. They will be mounted in the embroidery hoop of your choosing (5,6,7) and backed with white felt. The portrait will be sized to fit the hoop size! If you want floral details please choose this option! You will see this under the 'size' drop down option on the listing. If you choose just '5 inch' '6 inch' etc you will only have the names added! (or no names if you choose)
Each portrait piece will be a head shot unless stated otherwise, they will be placed next to each other to fit the hoop. When you order if you want your pets in a specific order please let me know! All portraits are drawn up and sent over to you to finalise before stitching.
When ordering, please message me with a photo of your pets and the name of each pet! The photos are the most important part of your pet portrait, I work very closely with the photos you send so it is vital you send good clear photos.
Tips on good photos are
-Make sure you take in natural lighting, this will help identify the colours in your pet.
-Try take at eye level, this is a flattering level for your pet!
-Take as high quality as possible! Most modern phones have great cameras!
-Send multiple through to me, I can never have enough to help with texture, colouring, characteristics of your pet etc.
If its the case you have old photos and they are all you have don't worry! I can work from these, get in touch and we can talk to help create the best portrait for you! I can work from many angles, if you aren't sure on a photo and if it will work, do send it through to me to see if its possible!
